Oops. That should read CT entries are due no later than 12 FEBRUARY 2009, not January as it has already been. Thanks Sarah for pointing it out! I feel like a bit of a dill. Sorry I haven’t got back to anyone yet, I was away for a few days on a family holiday, but I will now respond to everyone who has so far sent an entry in to let them know I have received their CT submission. :)

CT CALL and Challenge #17

January 30, 2010 at 10:27 pm | In Challenges, Creative Team Members | 3 Comments

Us here at Journal Challenges are on the lookout for 4 more creative team members!

It’s really quite simple – you just need to have a passion for journalling.

All you need to do is email 3 layouts (you don’t even need to create new ones!) which shows your love of the stories behind your layouts to bjarrett@tpg.com.au . If you also have a blog, a link would be handy as I know sometimes it is hard to pick only 3 of your favourite layouts.

It’s a no pressure team as scrapbooking should be about the fun and not the stress. If you are selected as part of the team all that is required of you is one layout per month. The term is for 12 months. Entries are to be received no later than Tuesday 12 January 2010. International applicants are more than welcome to apply.

Challenges will now be set on the 1st and 15th of every month. As usual there are no prizes for the challenges because I find it too hard to judge people on a fortnightly basis, the CT call will be enough for me for a year!

I look forward to receiving the applications and they will be emailed through to Leanne, Mel and Annette to help decide on the final people. All applicants will be contacted once the final four confirm.

Now. Onto challenge #17.

The first challenge this month is:

A DAY IN THE LIFE

Annette has created the most gorgeous layout, but you will need to click on it to see it better.

Anette also has a mini album on her blog if you want to have a look at that for some inspiration also.

If you complete challenge 17 and you would like it to be showcased on the blog, just email it along to me at bjarrett@tpg.com.au

Hey folks! We here at Journal Challenges hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I hope you will join us here every fortnight to play along with our challenges. If just one person is inspired enough to create a layout from our challenges, then that’s good enough for us!

Onto the first challenge of 2010!

This fortnight it is a technique challenge.

Use your own handwriting.

Or someone else’s. No matter, as long as there is handwriting. :)

Here is a gorgeous layout from Leanne:

Stay tuned to the blog as there will be a special announcement soon to kick off the new year! :)
